Steve Harvey
Here's a caricature I did of comedian Steve Harvey. Anyone who has visited my blog has seen this caricature go through several adjustments. It seems like most my problems are found in the process of painting instead of at the sketching stage (I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing). Nonetheless, I am actually pretty happy with this outcome. Comments and critques welcome.

NICE!
I wish I knew what is the secret to getting such clarity in the skin texture, especially considering I have an interest in game model texturing. Jon Moss did something similar with a Bruce Willis painting. Any tips you can reveal would be appreciated.
Thanks Chuck!
Brad, I can only mimic what Jason stresses...VALUES. It truly is all about values. I stumbled across this texture look on accident just trying to establish the correct values. A lot of squinting of the eyes and zooming in and out.
haha... that's awesome!
