Submission for the cover of a local art magazine called Pink Noise.

Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker

This is the mayor of my home town Christchurch. It's in a pretty bad state after a series of earthquakes over the past few months, the worst of which struck a couple of weeks ago. I painted this as my contribution to the earthquake relief fund. His orange jacket has become something of a trademark to him and the red and black background are Canterbury colours.
